Utah's Mighty Five

Utah's "Mighty 5" refers to five national parks located in southern Utah within easy driving distance of one another: Arches, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Zion. It also represents the long-standing American tradition of preserving the best that our country has to offer in the form of its national parks. Referred to by some as "off-the-charts spectacular," the other-worldly scenery in these parks has been created over time through the forces of nature. I had the opportunity to see each of the Mighty 5 on a recent trip to Utah.

Utah's Mighty Five
I'm grateful to have experienced the wonders of Utah's Might 5. We completed the trip in 15 days, leaving enough time to soak in the unique atmosphere of each park by hiking over 70 miles of beautiful trails. The parks can be enjoyed in a shorter time frame if you choose, but I recommend taking time to linger while you appreciate the preservation efforts of the generations prior to ours that have led to one of our country's greatest accomplishments - our national parks.
